Key dates for students in each program are different. Please select your program and download the academic calendar for 2024 below. 

At RMIT Vietnam, there are three semesters per academic year for Higher Education students. The following critical dates apply to students enrolled in standard semester-based classes.

Semester 3 2024

  • 25 October 2024: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 3, 2024 issued
  • 28 October 2024: Semester 3, 2024 begins
  • 08 November 2024: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 15 November 2024: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 22 November 2024: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 20 December 2024: Last date to drop classes (courses) without academic penalty
  • 30 December 2024: Re-enrolment of continuing students for 2025 begins
  • 13 January 2025: Enrolment of new students for Semester 1, 2025 begins
  • 14 February 2025: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 1, 2025 after this date
  • 17 February 2025: Results released
  • 21 February 2025: Deadline for timely re-enrolment - last day for continuing students to re-enrol for 2025

Semester 1 2025

  • 14-18 April: Saigon South Graduation Ceremonies
  • 25 April: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 19 May: Enrolment of new students for Semester 2, 2025 begins
  • 13 June: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 2, 2025 after this date
  • 16 June: Results released

Semester 2 2025

  • 27 June: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 2, 2025 issued
  • 30 June: Semester 2, 2025 begins
  • 11 July: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 18 July: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 25 July: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without penalty fee
  • 22 August: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 15 September: Enrolment of new students for Semester 3, 2025 begins
  • 10 October: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 3, 2025 after this date
  • 13 October: Results released

Semester 3 2025

  • 24 October: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 3, 2025 issued
  • 27 October: Semester 3, 2025 begins
  • 07 November: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 14 November: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 21 November: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without penalty fee
  • 19 December: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 29 December: Re-enrolment of continuing students for 2026 begins
  • 12 January 2026: Enrolment of new students for Semester 1, 2026 begins
  • 06 February 2026: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 1, 2026 after this date
  • 09 February 2026: Results released
  • 13 February 2026: Deadline for timely re-enrolment - last day for continuing students to re-enrol for 2026

  • 26 September: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 03 October: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 05 January 2026: Re-enrolment of continuing students for 2026 begins
  • 19 January 2026: Enrolment of New students for Semester 1, 2026 begins
  • 23 January 2026: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 23 January 2026: Semester 2, 2025 ends
  • 05 February 2026: Results issued
  • 06 February 2026 Deadline for timely re-enrolment - last day for continuing students to re-enrol for 2026
  • 09 March 2026 Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 1, 2026 after this date

The class timetable of The Business School's postgraduate programs in Semester 1 2025 are now available. Please check the programme, module and locations carefully. 

The policy for late changes in enrolment in in-person courses: 

  • If a student withdraws up until the first (1st) day of an intensive, no late variation fee will apply.
  • If a student withdraws after the first (1st) day of an intensive, the full course fee remains payable. The course will be marked as WDR (Withdrawal) and will not be counted towards GPA.
  • If a student withdraws after the second (2nd) day of an intensive, the full course fee remains payable and an academic penalty of NN (Fail) will apply. The failing course will be included in student's transcript.
