Important dates for RMIT Vietnam students in a year.

Key dates for students in each program are different. Please select your program and download the academic calendar for 2024 below. 

At RMIT Vietnam, there are three semesters per academic year for Higher Education students. The following critical dates apply to students enrolled in standard semester-based classes.

Semester 1 2024

  • 01 March: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 1, 2024 issued
  • 04 March: Semester 1, 2024 begins
  • 15 March: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 22 March: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 29 March: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 08, 09, 10 & 13 April: Graduation events
  • 26 April: Last date to drop classes (courses) without academic penalty
  • 20 May: Enrolment of new students for Semester 2, 2024 begins 
  • 14 June: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 2, 2024 after this date
  • 17 June: Results released

Semester 2 2024

  • 28 June: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 2, 2024 issued
  • 01 July: Semester 2, 2024 begins
  • 12 July: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 19 July: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 26 July: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 23 August: Last date to drop classes (courses) without academic penalty
  • 16 September: Enrolment of new students for Semester 3, 2024 begins
  • 11 October: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 3, 2024 after this date
  • 14 October: Results released

Semester 3 2024

  • 25 October: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 3, 2024 issued
  • 28 October: Semester 3, 2024 begins
  • 08 November: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 15 November: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 22 November: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 20 December: Last date to drop classes (courses) without academic penalty
  • 30 December: Re-enrolment of continuing students for 2025 begins
  • 13 January: Enrolment of new students for Semester 1, 2025 begins
  • 14 February: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 1, 2025 after this date
  • 17 February: Results released
  • 21 February: Deadline for timely re-enrolment - last day for continuing students to re-enrol for 2025

The class timetable of the Foundation Studies program in Semester 2, 2024 is available to view from 8 August 2024.

You will be added to the class group by your school. Please login to the system to view your class schedules.

Semester 2 2024

  • 16 August: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 2, 2024 issued
  • 19 August: Semester 2, 2024 begins
  • 30 August: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 06 September: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 13 September: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without penalty fee
  • 16 December: Re-enrolment of continuing students for 2025 begins
  • 03 January 2025: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 03 January 2025: Semester 2, 2024 ends
  • 16 January 2025: Results issued
  • 17 January 2025: Deadline for timely re-enrolment - last day for continuing students to re-enrol for 2025
  • 20 January 2025 Enrolment of New students for Semester 1, 2025 begins
  • 10 Mar 2025: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 1, 2025 after this date

Semester 1 2025

  • 28 February: Tuition Fee Invoices for Semester 1, 2025 issued
  • 03 March: Semester 1, 2025 begins
  • 14 March: Last date to add classes (courses)
  • 21 March: Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • 28 March: Last date to drop classes (courses) without penalty fee
  • 11 July: Last date to drop classes (courses) or LOA without academic penalty
  • 11 July: Semester 1, 2025 ends
  • 24 July: Results issued
  • 28 July: Enrolment of new students for Semester 2, 2025 begins
  • 15 September: Application Deadline. No applications accepted for Semester 2, 2025 after this date

The class timetable of The Business School's postgraduate programs in Semester 3 2024 is now available. Please check the programme, module and locations carefully. 

The policy for late changes in enrolment in in-person courses: 

  • If a student withdraws up until the first (1st) day of an intensive, no late variation fee will apply.
  • If a student withdraws after the first (1st) day of an intensive, the full course fee remains payable. The course will be marked as WDR (Withdrawal) and will not be counted towards GPA.
  • If a student withdraws after the second (2nd) day of an intensive, the full course fee remains payable and an academic penalty of NN (Fail) will apply. The failing course will be included in student's transcript.
