Attend the ceremony

RMIT Vietnam holds annual graduation ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. 

Who can attend

  • All bachelor’s degrees and above students studying in Vietnam and higher education students studying in Melbourne who complete their program in Semesters 1, 2 and 3 - 2024. 
  • For students who graduated in absentia in 2023 and 2024: If you would like to attend the RMIT Vietnam Graduation ceremony in April 2025, please submit this form by 2 February 2025 and monitor the Graduation website for updated information about the ceremony.

Ceremony dates

Hanoi City

  • Date: 10 April 2025 (Morning)
  • Venue: National Convention Center (NCC)

Ho Chi Minh City

  • Date: 14,15,16,17, and 18 April 2025
  • Venue: The Recreation and Events Complex (REC), RMIT SGS campus
  • Information about specific sessions will be updated in early March 2025

Graduation fee

  • Students graduating at the ceremony: 2,200,000 VND
  • Alumni who have graduated in absentia in 2023 and 2024: 1,300,000 VND*

*Students who have graduated in absentia need to order hard copy testamur with the cost of AUD 55. Therefore, the hard copy testamur fee has been deducted from the standard graduation fee for this group. 

Guests

  • Each graduand is allocated two (02) guest tickets for ceremony access, irrespective of whether these guests are adults or children.
  • Please note that there is an age limit for guests attending the ceremony. As in previous years, guests accompanying you on your graduation day should be 12 years old and above and must have valid identification documents.
  • The number of tickets is fixed, and we are unable to issue additional tickets under any circumstances. Students who have graduated in absentia need to order hard copy testamur with the cost of AUD 55. Therefore, the hard copy testamur fee has been deducted from the standard graduation fee for this group. 

Notes

  • Make sure you have applied for the ceremony before making payment.
  • The fee covers attendance at the graduation ceremony, hard copy testamur, academic dress loan, and tickets for a limited number of guests.
  • The fee is exempted for graduates who are recipients of an RMIT Vietnam Opportunity Scholarship or full-time contract RMIT staff.
  • The fee is non-refundable, except in special circumstances.
  • Due to the large number of graduates, we will not be able to send the payment confirmation to each student. Make sure you keep your payment receipt in case we need it for further clarification.

Payment information

You can pay the Graduation fee using the 'Make a Payment' feature on myRMIT, or choose from other available methods on this site.

Please note:

  • Students who graduated in absentia and return to attend the ceremony (i.e., alumni), as well as Melbourne students attending the ceremony, must pay the Graduation fee via Bank Transfer as guided in the information email.
  • Once you have paid the Graduation fee, you can check 'Payment History' to view your transaction or 'Account Balance' to see if the fee has been cleared.

Important Notes:

  • Depending on your payment method, the system update timeline can range from one (01) to seven (07) working days. Please retain your payment receipt in case it is needed for further clarification.
  • If not paying directly through myRMIT, you must include the following details on the Deposit slip or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) application: Student name - Student ID - 2025 April Graduation fee

Key dates to remember

  • 6 February 2025: Deadline for confirming your attendance and paying the graduation fee
  • 6 & 7 February 2025: Confirmation email sent to students attending the graduation ceremony
  • Early March 2025: Sending out details about Graduation sessions
  • 28 March 2025: Gown and tickets pickup

Further information

  • Students graduating at the ceremony will receive attendance information via their student email, while alumni who graduated in absentia in 2023 and 2024 will receive it through their registered personal email.
  • Due to the large number of applications, we are unable to confirm each individual's application and/or payment. Please make sure to follow the instructions, provide accurate information, and complete all necessary steps.
