The Enrolment tile allows you to see and manage all courses that you’re enroled into, including your majors and minors and view your enrolment history to confirm enrolment.

This is also where you will do your re-enrolment each year. You’ll be able to see a custom display of the courses you need to enrol into based on the requirements of your program and the courses you may have already completed.

About the tile

The Enrolment tile contains the following sections:

You can enrol in classes based on their program structure at any time throughout the year.

If you have to make any changes to your enrolment, and it's before the enrolment closure date, you can make these changes via self-service within myRMIT (not recommended). If it's after the enrolment closure date, you will need to contact Student Connect for an enrolment variation form. Please refer to the Important Dates page for guidance on enrolment milestones & deadlines.

Note: Statements of enrolment will be automatically created once enrolment (either self-service or pre-enrolment) is complete and be available for you to view via the myRMIT Academic Records tile.

You can view any differences to your program overall if you change your majors and minors before submitting a request for a change.

As a new or continuing student, you will be able to view what courses you have been pre-enrolled into.

You will see a custom display of your requirements based on the program you’re enrolled in. myRMIT will only display courses you have to study, based on requirements for your program and any courses you have already completed.

You can drop course, but will be prevented from dropping your last course in a Semester.

You can view your entire enrolment history, including course details, undertaken semester, credit points, enrolment status and grade.

You will also be able to view any past semesters enrolment details. By clicking on the semester, myRMIT will generate a PDF of 'Statement of Enrolment' for the selected semester in a new tab (this can occur any point after enrolment and whenever you need to).

You can update or make changes to your majors or minors for your program from the Enrolment tile, Update your Majors or Minors section.

Clicking Plan my Program from the side navigation you will be able to view all the available majors and minors for your program. You can also use this page to assess the academic impact of changing your major or minor by viewing which courses apply to each major/minor and whether you have completed them previously.

You are also required to speak to an advisor at Student Connect before making this change.

Frequently asked questions

If the Pre-Enrolment Checklist has not been completed, you will get a notification that can direct you to the checklist when you access the Enrolment tile.

You must complete the Pre-Enrolment Checklist from the Tasks tile first before you can proceed further with your enrolment activities.

You will also see 1 Pending Action displayed on the Tasks tile as reminder to complete your pre-enrolment.

You can enrol in your program in the Enrol in my Program section of the myRMIT Enrolment tile. The Enrol in my Program section provides the full program structure so you can review the program requirements and enrolment options for each academic year/term.

From the Program Heading section at the top, you can view the summary of your program requirements, including credit points required, credit points taken, and the remaining credit points needed to complete your program.

Please refer to the How to Enrol QRG for further information.

If you want to make any changes to your enrolment before the enrolment closure date, you can make the changes in the Drop Courses section within the myRMIT Enrolment tile.

If you want to make any changes to your enrolment after the enrolment closure date, you will need to contact Student Connect and request an Enrolment Variation form.

To ensure that you are currently enroling in a program, you are required to have a minimum of one course enrolled per semester. If you wish to drop the last course, you will be directed to the Submit Request tile to fill out a Form and provide a reason for dropping the last course, for example, Leave of Absence form or Program Cancellation form.

You will see a personalised display of your requirements based on the program you’re enrolled in. This means myRMIT will only display courses that you have to study, based on the requirements for your program and any courses you may have already completed.

Your Statement of Enrolment is an official statement that confirms your program and class enrolments for the academic year. A new Statement of Enrolment is generated overnight after any changes are made to your enrolment.

You can view and download a PDF of all your finalised enrolments in the form of a Statement of Enrolment. A PDF version of this document can be accessed from the myRMIT Academic Records tile, in the Statement of Enrolment section.

You can update majors or minors for your program in the Update your Majors or Minors section. It’s important to consult a Senior Student Advisor at Student Connect before updating your program. You must understand the academic impact before updating your majors or minors. Any changes could impact your enrolment requirements and may also change your estimated graduation date.
