How to use myTimetable

Learn create your timetable, reserve a class when it's full, deallocate from a class and more.

How to timetable

You can select your timetable in two easy steps. Make sure that you check the important dates section above to complete each step.

Step 1: Plan your timetable

The timetable is set in the read-only mode before it’s opened for class allocation. During this period, you can’t allocate yourself to classes but see all class times and location, and plan which classes you’d like to be in.

  1. Login to myTimetable
  2. Find your courses listed in the Enrolment panel on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click on each class (tutorial, lecture, etc.) to see times and locations.

If you see “No Group Available” for some courses, classes for that course aren’t scheduled on myTimetable. You should check the course content on Canvas or contact Student Connect  for support.

If courses in your enrollment panel are missed or incorrect, find the solution here or contact Student Connect to get support.

Step 2: Create your timetable

You can allocate yourself to classes when it’s open in selection mode. You should select your class as soon as possible to ensure a place in your preferred class.

How to select a class group?

  1. Login to myTimetable
  2. In the Enrolment panel, find any class with a status of SELECT (this means you haven’t been allocated to a class and must select one) or ADJUST (this means you can change from your allocated class to another class, assuming there are available places).
  3. Click on the class with a status of SELECT or ADJUST and the class options will display.
  4. To select or adjust a class, click the blue SELECT button next to your desired class. You can’t select a class with a red CLASH button, or red FULL, or yellow PROBLEM button.
  5. Repeat this process for each class. When there is a green tick next to each activity in the upcoming or current semester, you are finished.

Is the class you want full? Follow these tutorial videos:

Access timetables on campus

Room timetables are available for all teaching spaces at the Saigon South and Hanoi campuses (except for dedicated rooms of the School of English & University Pathways). This allows you to view the availability of rooms and plan group work and workshops outside of normal teaching hours.

You can use your mobile phone to view the room timetable by scanning the QR code on the door of each teaching space.
