It’s all about Green and Reuse this year! 

The Alumni Green Business Showcase 2024 is an annual event hosted by RMIT Alumni Vietnam, dedicated to highlighting the sustainable and ESG initiatives. This showcase will bring together 15 businesses in diverse industries and engage a network up to hundreds of C-levels and individuals who all care about green development. 

This year's event is proud to introduce the concept of GREEN and REUSE booths. With their eco-friendly materials, modular design, and easily detachable components, these booths represent a forward-thinking approach to event management that prioritizes reuse, resource conservation, and environmental responsibility.

This exclusive event is limited to 40 guests at the manager and C-level. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that due to limited availability, registration does not guarantee a confirmed spot.

Introduction about design concept of the event

Ms. Nguyen Huyen Chau, CEO at VAN HOA

Chau is known for her achievement as the first Vietnamese woman under 30 to be invited to attend a meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Huyền Châu is also a certified trainer in Circular Design by CIRCO, Netherlands.

She will bring to the audience the inspiration behind concept “Green Spiral” which applied to decoration, booth showcase and key visual of Alumni Green Business Showcase.

Alumni Green Business Showcase

The Alumni Green Business Showcase features a wide range of products and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development. Spanning various industries such as agriculture, food, green energy, new materials, and recycling technology, the showcase highlights offerings from 15 companies, catering to both B2B and B2C markets.

The story of Alumni Green Business Showcase 2024

What sets this year’s showcase apart from other sustainability events is its integration of a “Green and Reuse” Event Concept. 

While recycling has been a key focus of past Showcase in 2023, this year’s 2024 emphasis shifts toward REUSE. The goal is to minimise waste generated during the event by focusing on designing booths that can be reused in the long term after the event, instead of disposing. 

What makes the Alumni Green Business Showcase 2024 unique?

The booths are designed in a modular format, which allows them to be easily assembled, disassembled, and reassembled in different configurations for future events. 

The materials used are designed to be lightweight without compromising durability. This makes the booths easy to transport and handle, further promoting their reusability. Whether it’s a single company using the booth for multiple exhibitions or RMIT reconfiguring the booths for future events, the lightweight construction reduces transportation costs and environmental impact. 

Green Market

Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the flea market and hunt the item you want.

Participants who have donated items throughout the week will have the opportunity to exchange their items for others at the Green Market.

Those who have not donated but would like to participate can choose items by making a voluntary financial contribution to further green activities in Hanoi.
