About

Thu Nguyen is a Lecturer at RMIT University Vietnam, where she has taught since 2009.  She brings over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience in entrepreneurship, gained in Vietnam and the Netherlands.  Prior to joining RMIT University, Thu worked in various trading and consultancy companies and was a founder of a training and consultancy company. Her expertise encompasses startup management, SME development, and entrepreneurship education and research.  

Teaching interests

Thu's teaching portfolio encompasses a wide range of subjects, including core entrepreneurship courses like Entrepreneurial Process, Applied Entrepreneurship, and Corporate Entrepreneurship. Her teaching expertise also extends beyond entrepreneurship to include courses in Creativity, Innovation & Design, Leadership & Management.  Moreover, Thu plays a key role in curriculum development as a course coordinator for several courses such as Commercialization, Entrepreneurial Process, Applied Entrepreneurship, Driving Innovation in Organizations, and Creativity, Innovation & Design. Her expertise extends to leadership development, where she delivers impactful training programs for diverse audiences, including organisations such as Heineken's Global Leadership Impacts program, Train-the-Trainer programs for De Heus, or leadership training for the public sector.
