Ronald Harvey completed PhD (2014) in Community Psychology at the DePaul University in Chicago, IL. His research interests focus on Substance Abuse and Recovery Communities, Domestic and Sexual Violence, and Homeless with complex system approach: social networks, government policies, cultural attitudes, employment, housing and families. He has experience teaching and conducting research in the United States, Southeastern, Central and Eastern Europe, and Africa. He created the Psychology program in his last position as Assistant Professor of Psychology at the American University in Bulgaria before joining RMIT Vietnam.
