Deputy Vice-Chancellor International & Engagement and Interim General Director, RMIT Vietnam

Commencing in February 2023, Saskia Loer Hansen has been taking on the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor International & Engagement and Vice-President. 

Saskia has deep international and engagement experience within the tertiary education sector. She has built a strong reputation in senior roles in England, Australia, Scotland and Denmark, including work with campuses and partnerships across the Asia Pacific. She was the Interim Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive at Aston University, reflecting her standing at the university where she has been since 2017 with a comparable remit to this new position.  

Prior to Aston, Saskia was here at RMIT in leadership roles within our then Global Development & Performance, and International Relations teams. During this time she worked closely with RMIT Vietnam and RMIT Europe.
