Associate Professor Tra Pham holds a PhD in Economics from University of Groningen (the Netherlands). Prior to joining RMIT Vietnam, she held various academic positions in University of Groningen and Vietnam National University and served as a Senior Economist to USAID projects advising the government of Vietnam on international economic policy issues. She has published in Economics of Transition, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, Journal of Emerging Market Finance, and Topics in Theoretical Economics. Her current research interests span over financial inclusion, applied development economics, applied economics of innovation and entrepreneurship, and blockchain economy.
