Scott is an academic leader, holding a distinguished 2014 PhD and a 2021 DBA in Business Entrepreneurship, seamlessly melding scholarly eminence with practical acumen, bringing the real world to his students. At RMIT, the tenure spans from 2016, orchestrating three pivotal courses in Business Communications & Professional Practice, Warehouse & Distribution Channels, and Transportation & Freight Logistics.

Preceding this, a multifaceted career journey unveiled pivotal roles, including impactful guidance as the Assistant to the School President, leadership as the Head of the Department for Extracurricular Activities, and a venerated educator in both Business and Science at Vietnam Australia International School in Ho Chi Minh City since 2011, building on his skills from a successful career prior to moving to Vietnam as a Manufacturing Project Manager, Materials Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Transportation Coordinator in California, USA.
