About

Jaronie Mohd Jani is an academician, researcher, and engineer. He joined RMIT University in 2023 and received his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD in mechanical and manufacturing engineering from UAS Konstanz, Germany; Universiti Putra Malaysia; and RMIT University Melbourne, Australia, respectively. His research interests include the application and optimisation of CADCAM, smart materials, additive manufacturing, and engineering design. He became an academician after several years of service as an R&D engineer for multiple multinational corporations. He is an accredited professional engineer, registered in ASEAN (ACPECC), Europe (Engineers Europe), Germany (VDI), and Malaysia (BEM).
