About

Multifaceted educator with a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, who has been teaching rigorous graduate- and postgraduate-level courses at large universities including Monash University, The University of Queensland, and RMIT University. Dr. Minh Ngoc Dinh's expertise is in high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence (AI). He has a strong track record in research & development (R&D), with excellent academic coordination, project management, and communication skills.

 

Industry experience:
Minh Ngoc Dinh is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and currently serving as the Deputy Dean for Research & Innovation at the School of Science, Engineering & Technology, RMIT University, Vietnam. Dr. Minh Ngoc Dinh received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Monash University, Australia. His research interest is in Computational Science, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr Dinh’s expertise is developed through his previous positions at Monash University, The University of Queensland, and the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation. Dr. Minh’s recent research projects a set of OCR technologies to recognize and transcribe Vietnamese doctors' manuscripts, a customer behavior analytics platform to track business performance, and a scalable machine learning system to advance computational modeling techniques.

His work over the years has allowed him to engage and collaborate with students, academics, industry experts, and institutions such as FISU, a national platform for teaching, training, and research development activities in the ICT field of Vietnam, the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU), and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases (HTD), just to name a few.
