Bob Baulch is currently Professor of Economics in the Business School, RMIT University Vietnam. He is as an agricultural and development economist and has research and policy advisory experience in 24 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, including long-term assignments in Malawi, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Vietnam. He was educated at the universities of Oxford (undergrad), Sussex (masters) and Stanford (doctorate) and has worked for the Asian Development Bank, International Food Policy Research Institute, Natural Resources, Institute, University of Sussex (UK), Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and World Bank, as well as RMIT University. He has also been a manager for a community interest company and run his own successful economic consultancy company. He is a co-director of the RMIT Centre for International Development (https://www.rmit.edu.au/research/centres-collaborations/centre-for-international-development).
