Khoa's research focused on underwater vehicles, specifically the control systems of ROV/AUV. He has gained a deep understanding of this field and is committed to pursuing excellence in teaching, tutoring, and research in various units. After completing his PhD, he joined the Centre for Autonomous Systems (now Robotic Institute) at the University of Technology Sydney as a senior research engineer who works on robot systems design for various industry-funded projects.
