About

Dr Lorena is currently a Lecturer of Communication at the School of Communication and Design based in RMIT Hanoi. She more than 18 years of experience in both academia and the communication industry in the Philippines and Cambodia. Before coming to Viietnam, she served as Associate Dean at Pannasastra University of Cambodia and taught master’s and undergraduate communication courses. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas–Legazpi, Philippines. Her MA in Development Communication and the Doctor of Communication degrees are earned from the University of the Philippines, Open University.  Her expertise includes communication and design, media theories, communication philosophies, and arts-based research.
