Entry requirements - Study abroad

Check our entry requirements for the RMIT Vietnam Study Abroad program to see if you qualify:

RMIT University Vietnam has three intakes per year, corresponding to our trimester system of study; join us in February, June, or October.

Your university will determine whether you can receive credits towards your degree for the courses you undertake at RMIT Vietnam. This decision will be based on the equivalence between your degree program and the courses you choose to study at RMIT Vietnam.

Study Abroad requirements:

  • Have completed at least one full-time year at home institution (for Undergraduate students); OR; have completed at least one full-time semester at home institution (for Postgraduate students).
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 or 60% or equivalent (if you have a lower GPA, it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis)
  • Meet RMIT’s English language requirements
  • Be 18 years of age or over at time of application

GAP year requirements:

  • You must have successfully completed a senior secondary school qualification (equivalent to Australian Year 12) with a minimum average of 65%
  • Meet RMIT’s English language requirements
  • Be 18 years of age or over at time of application
