Higher education important dates

AT RMIT Vietnam, there are three intakes each year

  • February / March
  • June / July
  • October

Please note, RMIT’s offers are subject to the availability of places in each program and applications to competitive programs may close before published deadlines. As such, applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 

If a particular intake is full and you are a qualified applicant, we will endeavour to make you an offer for the next available intake or we will place you on a waitlist for your preferred intake and notify you when a place becomes available.

Key dates

Starting 6 October 2024, a deadline of 8 pm Vietnam time* is in effect for the:

  • Last date to add classes (courses)
  • Deadline for payment of tuition fees
  • Last date to drop classes (courses) or Leave of Absence (LOA) without a penalty fee
  • Last date to drop classes (courses) or Leave of Absence (LOA) without an academic penalty

* 8 pm Vietnam (ICT Time) = Midnight Melbourne (AEST time)

February/March intake 2024

  • Application Deadline: 23/02 (or until the program is full)
  • Enrollment open: 22/01 
  • Enrollment deadline: 15/03
  • Timetable open: 22/02
  • Orientation Week: 26/02-01/03
  • Commencing date: 04/03

June/July intake 2024

  • Application deadline: 14/06 (or until the program is full)
  • Enrollment open: 20/05 
  • Enrollment deadline: 12/07
  • Timetable open: 20/06
  • Orientation Week: 24-28/06
  • Commencing date: 01/07

October intake 2024

  • Application Deadline: 11/10 (or until the program is full)
  • Enrollment open: 16/9
  • Enrollment deadline: 8/11

  • Commencing date: 28/10

February/March intake 2025

  • Application Deadline: 14/02 (or until the program is full)
