If you have experienced threatening or concerning behaviour or you are worried about someone in our community, Safer Community can help.

The phone numbers and forms below have an option to be submitted anonymously. Please be aware that our ability to provide support and advice might be limited due to anonymity.

Examples/Indicators: 

  • Violent or physical threats, or possession of a weapon 
  • Sudden death 
  • Sexual assault
  • Intending to commit suicide

First,

Call RMIT 24/7 Security Hotline: 1800 2233

Second,

If the concern arises during Safer Community working hours (Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm), contact RMIT Safer Community Hotline (028) 362 24449

If the concern arises after Safer Community working hours, contact International SOS: (028) 3829 8520

Examples/Indicators: 

  • Emotional distress: crying, panicking 
  • Mental Health concern: worried, sad, withdrawn, angry 
  • Self-harm not requiring medical attention 
  • Cyberbullying 
  • Disclosure of past abuse 
  • Discrimination 
  • Sexual harassment 
  • Maltreatment by any RMIT community member 
  • Family and Relationship problems 

Share your concerns via the link below. The on-duty Wellbeing staff (Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm) will respond to submissions within 02 working days.

  • A Safer Community Advisor will listen to your concern
  • A safer Community Advisor will offer advice and support
  • A Safer Community advisor will provide options regarding your concerns
