In general, if the failed course is a core one, you have to retake it until awarded with passed results.

If the failed course is an elective course, an alternative in the same group recommended on your program map is acceptable.

All course results will be counted toward your GPA and displayed on your transcripts. Grades that are not included in GPA calculations can be found at GPA.

The tuition fee is applied.
Did you know?
If you think you should have received a different grade from the one you got, you can ask for a review by emailing the course coordinator/ program manager within 5 days of your results being released. You will need to provide evidence of at least one of the following grounds:

- there’s been an error in the calculation of the result, or
- the assessment(s) didn’t comply with the description of the assessment or the assessment criteria published in the course guide, or
- the assessment didn’t comply with the assessment policy or processes or another relevant rule or University policy (that is, there’s been an error in process), and this had a significant impact on the result.

Further information can be found on the Review and Appeal page.

You can appeal against a final course result to where you can demonstrate that you have sought a review of the result and where you have evidence identified in the grounds of review and appeal.

Further information can be found on the Review and Appeal page.
