About

Matthias is an associate fashion design lecturer at RMIT Saigon, originally from Italy, with extensive experience in both academia and the fashion industry. After earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel, he served as the creative assistant to Prof. Priska Morger, focusing on teaching and developng curriculum around collection development, fashion performance, and visual communication.

He has guest-lectured at “Die Angewandte” in Vienna and “FAT” in Linz, worked with Gaspard Yurkievich and ZIMMERLI in Paris, and consulted for Bernhard Willhelm, Sang Bleu, and Canon Switzerland amongst others. In Basel, he co-directed graduate shows and guided BA Final Collections.
