Associate Professor Seng Kiat, Kok as Dean of Students, RMIT Vietnam, provides strategic management and leadership in the student-centered and student-facing domains of the university, particularly, in areas of academic progression, student experiences and student wellbeing.
He has a PhD and two Master’s Degree from LJMU in the United Kingdom and is an active researcher in the subject areas of public sector management, entrepreneurship, organisational dynamics and tourism. He is currently supervising PhD and DBA candidates in these areas of interest and has published extensively, with over 50 journal articles and book chapters to his name. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has worked with a number of different academic and professional stakeholders developing academic programs as well as providing business consultancy.
Previously, Seng was Deputy Dean Learning and Teaching, and Program Manager for HR and Entrepreneurship in The Business School, RMIT Vietnam. Prior to joining RMIT Vietnam, Seng developed and managed academic programs in the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
