About the TBS Poster Competition​

The academic competition that challenges Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates that showcase the real-world impact research and positively contribute to society. It also serves as a platform to foster collaboration across disciplines and celebrate the achievements of exceptional candidates. ​

Eligibility

Open to currently enrolled HDR candidates at RMIT Vietnam's The Business School, with only one poster submission allowed per individual.​

How to participate​

  • Register intent to submit the poster application by 11:59 PM on August 8, 2024
  • Submit an A0 size poster (either portrait or landscape) and a 1-page extended abstract summarising the research by August 23, 2024
  • The poster should be static (no animations or transitions) and not include additional media like sound or video
  • The poster topic can be related to the participant's PhD research but should also link to a specific UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) or support social impact
  • The top 5 posters will be selected, and their authors will be notified by 6 September 2024 to present their work at the competition day on September 19, 2024

Prizes:​

  • 1st Prize: Certificate, trophy, cash voucher, and seed grant up to 50,000,000 VND
  • 2nd Prize: Certificate, trophy, cash voucher, and seed grant up to 25,000,000 VND​
  • 3rd Prize: Certificate, trophy, and cash voucher up to 5,000,000 VND​

The RMIT Vietnam Strategic Innovation Challenge is a vehicle through which we invest in Vietnam and the region with funds generated by RMIT University Vietnam. Food Drive is a project hosted by RMIT Alumni Vietnam and VietHarvest to tackle food waste and donate dry foods to underserved communities. This event is part of the broader campaign entitled Sạch, Sành, Sanh (Clean, Clever, and Continuity), which aims to promote sustainable development in Vietnam.​
