Creative Engineering - Make your own Ruler  

Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering) (Honours) 

This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to use Solidworks to implement features on a part, specifically in the creation and customization of their own rulers. The design can then be fabricated using the laser cutter in our Advanced Manufacturing Workshop. 

Let's get loud: Making your own amplifier 

Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) 

This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to use NI Multisim to simulate an amplifier, which is widely used in our daily lives. After completing this step, participants will next use the NI Elvis II board, together with some basic electronic components, to build a circuit on a breadboard to test what their simulation step work and compare the results.

Know thyself, know the world

Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) 

This workshop will provide some interesting psychological tools for self-exploration. Participants will be instructed how different subfields in psychology can be applied to develop self-awareness as well as how to understand others. 

Flying high: The future of aviation

Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) 

This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to gain an appreciation of all the key players that are involved in getting us safely from one destination to another by air travel, and to consider the key skills and future opportunities that will be available to students in the aviation industry. 

The Power of Food - SEE the future

Bachelor of Science (Food Technology and Nutrition) 

This workshop introduces students to the emerging trends in food technology and nutrition, shaping the future of food. Participants will be guided on how to read the nutritional labels on food packages that can then help us select a healthier version of food commodities.
