Son has obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at Laval University, Canada, which focused on the design and control of a mechanism for lower limb rehabilitation.
His research interests focus on exoskeletons, parallel robots, and human-robot interaction.
Industry experience:
Wolturnus 2017 – 2019 (2 years) Collaboration with wheelchair manufacturer. Lead project manager for designing an exoskeleton for elderly people using a wheelchair
Delphi 2010 – 2012 (2 years) Automotive Engineer. Design and validation of algorithm for start and stop and water temperature measurement.
Valeo 2007 (6 months) Internship at Automotive industry. Validation of the compliance of an ECU temperature.
