If you know what you want to study but also value the flexibility to explore many other areas of business, you might enjoy the option to undertake one Major and multiple electives.

This way, you’re able to develop specialist knowledge of one core area of focus and gain a broad understanding of many other topics.

 

You will undertake: 

  • 4 Business Core courses (compulsory) in Year 1
  • 8 courses for your Major
  • 7 Business options*
  • 4 University electives**  
  • 1 Capstone Experience course (compulsory) in Year 3

* Business options: choose from any other business Major or Minor. See the Majors and Minors page for a full list of courses. 

** University elective: Choose from elective courses offered across the university in any other program. 

 

Please note

  • you cannot choose the same course twice, this includes if the course is taught as part of your Major or Minor;
  • you must complete a total of 288 credit points (24 standard courses); and
  • the number of courses quoted above is based on 12 credit points per course, however some course may be 24 to 48 credit points.
