9.30am - 10.15am | Supporting Students and Parents with University Navigation Facilitator: Thao Nguyen (College Counselor, ISHCMC-American Academy) and Kari Withers (University Counselor & Counselor Lead, ISHCMC) This session aims to share tools that empower parents and students in navigating university options. These tools help families evaluate career options and university choices to determine the best fit. Attendees will have an opportunity to share their own approaches with one another as well. |

11am – 11.30am | Roundtable Discussions with university students: ensuring a smooth transition from secondary to university To gather insights from current university students about their transition experiences from secondary school to university, and to discuss strategies that can help future students navigate this critical period more effectively.

11.30am – 12pm | Counselor & Principal Job- alike Presenter: Michael Tower (Associate Director, Wellbeing & Counselling, RMIT University) The session aims to enhance collaboration between school counselors and principals by aligning their roles and responsibilities. Participants will engage in discussions and activities that highlight effective communication strategies, shared goals, and coordinated approaches to address student needs. |
