Training schedule and content

The training program will be delivered in Vietnamese, catering specifically to the needs of participants, who are primarily Vietnamese teachers and lecturers. The program includes a pre-workshop module and six online workshops. The tentative schedule and content are as follows:

  • Learn how to apply AI to develop teaching activities tailored to various subjects, education levels, and learning objectives
  • Explore UNESCO's AI Competency Framework for teachers and students, which provides guidance on developing competencies and essential skills needed for effective use of AI in teaching and learning activities

Workshop 2: Integrating AI into teaching with the TPACK and SAMR models

  • Explore and apply the TPACK model (Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge) and the SAMR model (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition) to integrate AI into teaching and learning activities, with specific examples for each educational level

  • Create AI chatbots to assist with tasks such as answering questions related to the syllabus and study materials, generating exercises tailored to students' abilities, explaining key concepts and content, and offering guidance when students encounter difficulties with their tasks

Workshop 6: Effective and responsible use of AI for teachers and educational leaders

  • This workshop equips teachers and educational leaders with key principles, best practices, and important considerations for responsibly implementing AI in education, both in the classroom and at the management level.
