The tourism sector contributes between 8% and 14% to Vietnam’s GDP and employs more than 750,000 people, with enormous direct, indirect, and induced impacts in Vietnam’s economy and society. 2019 was a landmark year for Vietnam tourism with more than 18 million international tourists (+16.2%); 85 million domestic tourists (+6%); and US$ 32.8 billion in tourism receipts (+18.5%). Despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam tourism remains resilient and hopeful for the future.

Please join us and the RMIT Vietnam community for a lively roundtable discussion on the current challenges and opportunities facing Vietnam tourism. Hear from illustrious experts in the areas of hospitality, casino operations, aviation, sales, and real estate who will come together to discuss what lies ahead for tourism in Vietnam beyond 2021 in order to become one of the leading tourism destinations in the world.
