Call for papers: International research symposium and book launch

Call for papers

In recent years, there have been many uncertainties, disruptions and turbulent events happening in the international environment. In addition to digital transformation and political and economic conflicts, the global pandemic – COVID-19 has hit the world dramatically. Many economies are shaken, and radical changes are required from individuals, firms and governments to restore the ‘normal’ status.

In that setting, RMIT Vietnam will hold a Virtual International Research Symposium focusing on international business in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). As the output of the symposium, a peer-reviewed research book with an ISBN compiled of accepted papers will be published. We would like to invite scholars, research students and experts to submit papers for the symposium. The theme of the symposium is “International Business in The Greater Mekong Subregion: Opportunities and Challenges in The New Context”. The symposium and the book seek to showcase research work on international business in and from the region in the context of disruption, pandemic and transformation.

The Greater Mekong Subregion consists of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Yunnan Province and Guanxi Zhuang Autonomous Zone of China.
