Australian Border Force recognises the partnership from RMIT University was instrumental in the successful delivery of this important initiative to empower women leaders to achieve success in Customs organisations.
In May 2022, the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) announced the inaugural Container Control Programme – Women’s Professional Development Programme (CCP-WPDP Asia Pacific) as the winner of the 2022 Gender Award.
This award recognises the efforts of the Australian Border Force, the UNODC and RMIT University to promote gender equality and empower women to advance in law enforcement leadership.
In September 2019, the Australasian Council of Women and Policing (ACWAP) announced ARLEMP as the 2019 winner of the Excellence Award for Women in Policing Initiative.
This award recognises the positive actions taken by the Australian Federal Police, the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and RMIT University to improve women’s law enforcement opportunities and outcomes.
