Note:

For those who are interested in applying for a Post-Study Work - Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) to stay and work in Australia temporarily after you have finished your studies, please note that one of the requirements from Australian government is that “you completed your course as a result of at least two academic years of full-time study (92 weeks)” as a full fee paying student in Australia (which is equivalent to 192 RMIT credit points). Therefore, please check your remaining credits if you plan to apply for this type of visa upon completion of your studies in Melbourne.

How to apply

  • Make a color scan of your passport
  • Download and fill out a Transfer Application Form
  • Send above documents to email transfer@rmit.edu.vn by timeline below:
    • Sem 1 (March to June): From 12 August to 1 October (previous year)
    • Sem 2 (July to November):  From 3 January to 20 February (same year)

It is recommended that students transfer into the same program in RMIT Melbourne in order to maximise the number of credits exempted.

Please note that the following programs are either not offered or offered differently in Melbourne (customised for Vietnam). If you are currently studying one of these programs and would like to transfer to RMIT Melbourne, please contact us for further consultation and support.

Also, candidates who would like to apply for PhD or Master of Research should contact RMIT Melbourne directly.
