This fund will see RMIT invest in education, research, partnerships and campus infrastructure, as Vietnam’s leading international university, contributing to the country’s social and economic goals.
The first outcome of this fund is RMIT’s Hanoi Industry and Innovation Hub, creating a gateway between local Vietnam-based partners and international expertise.
On 3 June 2023, in the presence of the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Anthony Albanese MP, RMIT University announced the next phase of its Country Commitment to Vietnam, including a AU$250 million strategic investment fund.
RMIT University has launched a AU$250m strategic investment fund as part of its Country Commitment to Vietnam.
The announcement was made in Hanoi on 3 June 2023 in the presence of Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
This fund will see RMIT invest in education, research, partnerships and campus infrastructure in Vietnam.
It will also play a key role in realising the ambition of doubling two-way investment between Australia and Vietnam.
