Australian Aboriginal students boost cultural exchange

Nine students from RMIT’s Ngarara Willim Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples toured HCMC, sharing song and dance with RMIT Vietnam students.

Welcoming the group to Vietnam and to the University’s Saigon South campus, RMIT Vietnam’s Executive Director (Engagement) Jan Clohessy said the culture and people of Vietnam would amaze the visitors.

“Vietnam is moving very quickly and people here are really friendly,” Ms Clohessy said.  

“I hope after more than one week in the country, you will have insights into the diversity of Vietnam.”

The group enjoyed performances by RMIT Vietnam’s Music Club and participated in Vietnamese folk games, while also sharing their own traditional dance.
