The first step to joining RMIT is to find a program that suits you best. Each RMIT program page includes useful information including career prospects, entry eligibility, and fees. Search for an undergraduate program and postgraduate program in a study area that interests you.
To avoid delays in admission processing, please ensure you have all the necessary supporting documents ready to include in your application.
Use the application checklists for easy reference
Fill out the online application form (registration required) and attach all relevant supporting documents. (Refer to the Application checklist to see what documents are required)
Once your application is complete, follow the prompts and submit your application.
Note: If you're unable to apply via our online portal, please contact our International Student Recruitment team at international@rmit.edu.vn.
The closing dates for applications are published on our Important dates for students page. Please note, RMIT’s offer is subject to the availability of places in each program and applications to competitive programs may close when program quotas fill before published deadlines. As such, applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Your application will be assessed in line with RMIT’s policies and procedures. If your application is successful, you will receive an offer letter online. Follow the prompts to accept your offer letter via the online application portal.
Once you accept your offer, a non-refundable tuition fee deposit is also payable online.
Note: RMIT will normally advise you on the outcome of your application within 10 business days. If you don't hear back within the time frame, please contact our Student Recruitment team.
When your deposit is received, RMIT Vietnam will prepare a visa invitation letter for you, which can be accessed via the online portal.
Please nominate a visa pickup location (Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate address), where you will apply for Vietnam student visa. It can be in your home country or elsewhere.
You MUST collect the visa at your nominated Vietnam Embassy/Consulate.
Note: The process of preparing the visa invitation letter can take up to 2 months, depending on the Vietnam immigration department. Please note that you cannot be in Vietnam while the visa invitation letter is processing.
Once you receive your visa invitation letter, attach it to your student visa application.
RMIT Vietnam has three trimesters each year, which commence in February, June, and October.
Our offers are subject to the availability of places in each program and applications to competitive programs may close before published deadlines, international students are recommended to submit their application to RMIT at least 4 - 6 months before the commencement date of each trimester
