Over 1,400 educators attend free AI training delivered by RMIT
RMIT Vietnam has delivered a free training program for teachers across Vietnam to enhance their capabilities in applying AI technologies in teaching and learning activities.
The seminar welcomed senior officials from the Teachers and Educational Managers Department, alongside representatives from various MOET departments.
As part of the Empowering Educators with AI (EEAI) project—funded by the Strategic Innovation Challenge (SIC) – Round 2—Dr Linh Tran, Mr Tom Huynh, and Mr Thanh Pham, lecturers from SSET, hosted the Applications of AI for Educational Managers seminar on March 1 at the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) office in Hanoi.
The seminar welcomed senior officials from the Teachers and Educational Managers Department, alongside representatives from various MOET departments. With the strong support of the Government Affairs team, led by Ms Chi Thai, the event was successfully facilitated.
Participants responded enthusiastically, finding the seminar's insights on AI applications in teaching and educational administration highly relevant. The discussions also highlighted key concerns and challenges regarding AI implementation in the Vietnamese education system.
This seminar marks a key preparatory step toward the Vietnam National Forum on Education Innovation with AI, a flagship initiative of the EEAI Project launching in 2025. We look forward to bringing this vision to life at the official launch event on March 21 at RMIT Hanoi campus.
